self portraits

Its often weird for some people to know I take so many pictures. I take pictures everyday, of a lot of things.  In order to create and to always practice, I make self-portraits. Sometimes there is an idea or an interesting lighting, and there is no one else but yourself, so I just take a picture. sometimes its to remember a moment, sometimes is to express an emotion. With todays technology, most cellphones are equipped with pretty decent cameras and I happen to love mine. here are some of the portrait fro the last 2 weeks.

Las week while riding my bicycle to school I saw this beauty couch. being late I just snap some pictures with my cell phone, bit the next day I had to ask Carly to stop by with me and take some photos. Lucky for me it was still there. Here are some of the pictures we took.

Ceramics!

So for the last year I have been in the ceramics program as well as in the photo. I love both in different ways. From the beginning I use the oil spill and man cause disaster to inspire me as you can see on the first picture. now I'm continuing with that topic but with a different approach, which I eventually will shoe when I'm finished, the bottom pictures are from the work in progress of the first piece. all done in porcelain and through coil construction,  reduction, and slab for the couch. 

this is the latest, not finished yet, but almost there.

Walk in my shoes

The saying "you don't know someone until you walk in their shoes" is pretty interesting, cause you could. I guess if you wanted, or better yet, if they fit, you can probably walk in them. this shoes are right now my favorite shoes, the are comfortable and they are not flashy... and even better, they are pretty cheap. I'm not sure what this pictures says about me but make of it whatever you like to think.
